The photovoltaic park "Don Rodrigo 1" was built 20 km south of Seville and is one of the largest solar parks in Europe: over 500,000 solar modules have been installed on an area of 256 hectares.

The total output of the park is 175 megawatts. With the 300 gigawatt hours of electricity generated in this way, 93,000 Spanish households can be supplied with electricity for a year.

The output of the solar park thus corresponds to a peak power plant.
